During Social Action an emphasis is placed on Goal Five, in particular for the juniors and seniors. Because they are given more freedom on Social Action days, Third and Fourth Ac’s are encouraged to grow in atmosphere of wise freedom.

Third Academics are assigned to a yearlong social site with a designated group. Although Third Ac’s do not choose their site, they can indicate their interest in a specific form of service. After a full year of service, Third Academics may continue working at the same site or choose a different area to preform service during their senior year.

Both Third and Fourth Academics arrive at their sites by using public transportation, faculty driver, or student driver.
