On April 20th, 2011, Stone Ridge School of the Sacred Heart had the pleasure of welcoming two activists who work closely with the United Nations in New York City.

Alana Pitcher, school nurse at Stone Ridge, plays a vital role in the freshman Social Action program. Each of the groups of freshman learn about five topics throughout their year of Social Action, the elderly, environment, disabilities, childcare, and CPR certification.
